Montessori Fundamentals February 2018

This course is designed to be an introduction to Montessori Philosophy and Best Practices at the Early Childhood level. It includes topics related to classroom leadership and an overview of the Montessori Early Childhood curriculum. Montessori Key Concepts such as the Absorbent Mind, Sensitive Periods, and Normalization are explained. Participants will also learn about classroom roles and positive discipline. This class will be beneficial to Assistant Teachers and other support staff as well as volunteers and substitute teachers
